Z-95 Headhunter

The Incom/Subpro Z-95 Headhunter is a dated craft at best. Its design comes from well before the Rebellion started, maybe even back in the days of the old republic. The Headhunter is a widely used by many of the galaxy's organizations for several reasons. One, its cheap. Two, its very easy to modify (that's why no two headhunters look exactly alike). Three, its sturdy and reliable. Its not nearly as powerful as the up to date craft such as E-wings and Tie Defenders, but with the right upgrades the moldy Z-95 can hold its own.
The Ghost Fighters own a entire squadron of modified fighters. Advanced sensor packages, updated weapon racks, high powered lasers and shields, and faster engines are just some of the new equipment installed into the wide range of Headhunter models on the Rancor Pit. Flyboy's personal Headhunter is called the Flyboy's Pride, and along with the above mentioned advances there are several other unique packages installed. One being a long-rang holonet transceiver so the ship's computer can communicate directly with Squeaky from across the galaxy. A dual phase hyperdrive set was installed so as to give the ship a slightly boosted speed at faster than light travel, though the pilot can switch back to the slower setting so as to keep pace with others in the Ghost Fighters. Flyboy, being a high level officer in the Imperial Military, also had managed to scrounge several military grade parts and installed them himself, such as improved armor and power generators. Not only that, but the computer core is upgraded as well so that it has a limited AI system along with its navigational settings.
